A trial version of TPM is now available with a different installer that does not use Microsoft Installer technology. If you get a MSI related error when running Tpminst.exe in some cases you may need to be update to the most recent version of the Microsoft Installer.
If you cannot (or do not want to) upgrade your Windows Installer Service you can instead use a Teacher's Personal Markbook install program that does not require MSI.
